KARACHI: Dr. Shoab Ahmed Khan has been unanimously elected as Chairman of the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA), Pakistan’s IT industry association, for the 2026–28 term.

Dr. Khan, a seasoned academic and a leading voice in Pakistan’s technology sector, brings to the role an exceptional blend of technical expertise and strategic vision.

His unanimous election underscores a profound level of confidence in his ability to steer the association and the industry at large during a critical period of growth and digital transformation of Pakistan.

P@SHA has also announced the election of its Senior Vice Chairman, Wahab Yunus and Vice Chairman, Samad Saleem, for the tenure of 2026-28.

The newly constituted CEC members include, Ahmed Javed Vaseer, Faisal Kamiran, Fatima Asad-Said, Khushnood Aftab, M. Zohaib Khan, M. Azam Mughal, Shawana Iftikhar, Shaikh Ayaz Ali and Syed Junaid Ahmad

Accepting the role of chairman P@SHA, Dr. Shoab Ahmed Khan said that this is a pivotal moment for Pakistan’s IT sector and working together with the newly elected CEC, our immediate priority is to collaborate closely with the government on forward-thinking policies, accelerate skill development to meet global demands, and position Pakistan as a leading destination for IT innovation and investment.

P@SHA expresses its gratitude to the outgoing leadership and reaffirms its commitment to advocating for the entire IT and ITeS community.
