KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where five ships, GFS Pride, New sun Lucky, Corona, Pasco Berke and Patroklos-I scheduled to load/offload Container, Rice, Palm oil, LPG and Mogas, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and FOTCO oil Terminal during last 24 hours.
Meanwhile six more ships, Doric Javelin, Grand ACE-11, Henrietta Kosan, Torm Innovation, OBE Lotus and Dixon & two more ships, APL Antwerp and BSG Bimini scheduled to load/offload Cement, Palm oil, Gasoline, Chemicals, Coal and Container also arrived at outer anchorage same period also mention above.
A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a bulk cargo carrier ‘V-Star’ left the port on Tuesday morning, while another containers ship ‘GFS Pride’ expected to sail on Tuesday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 98,452 tones comprising 84,046 tones imports cargo and 14,406 export cargo carried in 1,050 Containers (1,050 TEUs Imports & 0 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 18 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them three ships, Kian, OBE Lotus and Evabgelia-D & another containers ship ‘BSG Bimini’ scheduled to load/offload Rice and Coal are expected to take berths FAP, PQEPT, PIBT and QICT respectively on Tuesday 29th September, 2026.
