KARACHI: Shipping activity was reported at the port where five ships, SLS Topaz, Celiuse Emmen, Paloma, Sahndong Redwood and Rising Sky Gr carrying Container, Mogas, LNG and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, FOTCO oil Terminal, Pakistan Gas Port Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal on 23rd Sept.
Meanwhile two more ships, BSG Barbados and Phoenix-B carrying Container and Coal also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
A total of twelve ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, SLS Topaz, Celiuse Emmen and Banglar Agradoot left the port on today morning, while another grain cargo carrier ‘Truong An Star’ expected to sail on Thursday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 253,471 tones comprising 173,464 tones imports cargo and 80,007 export cargo carried in 3,965 Containers (664 TEUs Imports & 3,301 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 15 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Maria Majestic and BSG Barbados & two more ships, CMA CGM Ganges and PGC Yiannios carrying Palm oil, LPG and Container are expected to take berths LCT, SSGC and QICT respectively on Thursday 24th September, 2026.
