JAKARTA: Indonesia exported 2.74 million tonnes of palm oil and palm kernel oil in the month of January, the Indonesia Palm Oil Association (GAPKI) said on Monday.
The shipment rose 4.6 percent compared to December and 0.7 percent from the same month a year earlier.
Demand from China and European Union countries were lower on monthly basis in January, but demand from the United States and Bangladesh helped increase the total exports.
Indonesia had a palm oil stock of 3.62 million tonnes by the end of January, GAPKI said.
