ISLAMABAD: US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker has welcomed Catherine Connell as the new Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) at the US Embassy in Pakistan, marking a key diplomatic reshuffle at the US mission in Islamabad.
Connell brings extensive diplomatic experience and a strong understanding of Pakistan, having previously served in Karachi and Lahore, according to the US Embassy.
Baker said Connell’s experience and familiarity with Pakistan would contribute to further strengthening the growing US-Pakistan bilateral relationship.
As DCM, Connell will work alongside Baker on advancing bilateral engagement and strengthening ties between Islamabad and Washington.
