LAHORE: In line with ongoing administrative efforts to ensure the seamless distribution of the Prime Minister’s petroleum products subsidy, Commissioner Lahore Nauman Yousuf on Saturday visited several petrol pumps across the city to review operations and inspect public facilitation counters.
During his field visits to service stations located on Outfall Road, Sagian, and behind MAO College, including two PSO, one Euro, and one Total station, the Commissioner inspected fuel distribution processes and audited official subsidy records. He evaluated the efficiency of the administrative facilitation counters set up at the pumps to assist motorists and personally interacted with citizens to gather feedback regarding fuel availability under the relief program.
Speaking on the occasion, Nauman Yousuf affirmed that the distribution of subsidised fuel is progressing smoothly in strict accordance with prescribed procedures. He emphasised that ensuring public convenience remains the administration’s top priority and advised citizens encountering any issues to utilise the dedicated on-site facilitation desks.
He added that Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners are directly conducting field monitoring across petrol stations to ensure the government relief actively reaches the public without interruption, he said.
