KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where three ships, MSC Palak, Argent Gerbera and Esperia carrying Container, Chemicals and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and Port Qasim Electric Power Terminal on 15th September. Meanwhile five more ships, MSC Panaya, BSG Barbados, SunisaNaree, Al-Joudi-I and Porto Fiscardo carrying Container, Steel Coil, Steel Billets and Coal also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
A total of twelve ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them six ships, Densa Tiger, Da Kang, Roama-18, Argent Garbera, MSC Palak and MSC Panaya expected to sail on Wednesday.
Cargo volume of 185,464 tones comprising 128,917 tones imports cargo and 58,547 export cargo carried in 3,550 Containers (750 TEUs Imports & 2,800 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 21 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, SunisaNaree, Sea Trader, GM-2, MSC Panaya and BSG Barbados & three more ships, GSL Melina, CMA CGM Congo and Victoria Kosan carrying Steel Coil, Palm oil, LPG, Container and Chemicals are expected to take berths MW-1, LCT, SSGC, QICT and EVTL respectively on Wednesday 16th September, 2026.
