KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where four ships, HTK Phoenix, Roama-18, Sirtaki and Chris GR scheduled to load/offload Cement/Rice, Palm oil, Gasoline and Coal, berthed at Multi-Purpose Terminal-2, Liquid Cargo Terminal, FOTCO Oil Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal on 14th September.
Meanwhile another ship ‘MSC Palak’ carrying Container also arrived at outer anchorage on same day.
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a liquid cargo carrier ‘Bangkok Chemi’ left the port on today morning, while another bulk cargo carrier ‘Chang Chang Nan Hai’ expected to sail on today afternoon.
Cargo volume of 75,411 tones comprising 71,250 tones imports cargo and 4,161 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 19 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them three ships, Argent Garbera, Esperia and MSC Palak& another ship ‘BSG Barbados’ carrying Chemicals, Coal and Container are expected to take berths EVTL, PQPET and QICT respectively on Tuesday 15th September, 2026.
