CM pays tribute to PAF martyrs, veterans, Shaheens, valiant personnel

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Monday paid rich tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and saluted its Shaheens and valiant personnel on Air Force Day.

The chief minister offered special prayers for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for their bereaved families. In her special message on Air Force Day, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif paid tribute to the professional capabilities of the PAF’s Shaheens.

She said that PAF heroes, including Shaheed Rashid Minhas, had written remarkable chapters of courage, bravery and valour in the skies. She said that last May, the Pakistan Air Force shot down eight of the enemy’s most advanced fighter aircraft, once again raising the green and white flag of Pakistan with pride.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif said Air Force Day was a symbol of national unity, unwavering resolve and the spirit of patriotism. She said the role of the Pakistan Air Force in safeguarding Pakistan’s airspace was unforgettable.
