KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 132,256 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 82,203 tonnes of Import Cargo and 50,053 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 82,203 tonnes Comprised of 54,070 tonnes of Containerized Cargo,917 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 8,923 tonnes of Soya Bean Seeds,& 18,293 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 50,053 tonnes Comprised of 23,515 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 517 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 9,891 tonnes of Clinkers,14,075 tonnes of Mill Scale,& 2,055 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 07 ships namely, Ever Excel, Msc Mirjam, Xt Fortune, Apl Paris, Feng Hai 66, & MT Karachi berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 06 ships namely, Msc Turkiye, Oocl Le Havre, Ts Kelang, Meghna Venus, Geum Gang, Hui Fa, & Han Ren sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Silver Manoora and Hafnia Raven left the port on Monday morning, while four more ships, GFS Pride, Rui Ning-8, The Finder and Gas Lotus expected to sail on Monday.
Cargo volume of 60,620 tones comprising 52,197 tones imports cargo and 8,423 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 21 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them seven ships, MSC Colombo-V, Solana-S, M Bristol, AOM Piera, Lian Shan Hu, Gaschem Werra and Chang Chang Nan Hai scheduled to load/offload Container, Rice, Palm oil, Canola Seed, Mogas, Chemicals and Coal are expected to take berths QICT, MW-1, LCT, FOTCO, EVTL and PIBT respectively on Monday 31st August, 2026.
