KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 277,045 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 202,216 tonnes of Import Cargo and 74,829 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 202,216 tonnes Comprised of100,273 tonnes of Containerized Cargo,26,729 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 6,741 tonnes of Soya Bean Seeds,& 68,473 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 74,829 tonnes Comprised of 48,740 tonnes of Containerized Cargo,781 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo,19,330 Tons of Clinkers,3,264 tonnes of Loose Bulk Cement, & 2,714 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
As many as 11 ships namely, Ussama Bhum, Oocl Jakarta, Nara, Bf Hamburg, Marine Xena, Montok, Hanne Danica, Dp World Jebel Ali, Cscl Mars, & Marine Xena berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Around, 07 shiips namely, Marine Xena, Silver Star 5, Nyr Constellation, Baraaw-1, Stolt Endurance, Hafnia Raven, & Hanne Danica sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of seven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, FS Bitumen, Khairpur and NYK Constellation are expected to sail on Monday.
Cargo volume of 113,093 tones comprising 113,093 tones imports cargo and 1,334 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 21 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, NYK Constellation, MSC Silvia, Vosco Trader, Burgan and W-Lion scheduled to load/offload Container, Cement, Gas oil and Coal are expected to take berths QICT, MW-1, FOTCO and PIBT respectively on Monday 24th August, 2026.
