LAHORE: The Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with icod.ai, a no-code, AI-powered technology platform, to develop and deliver coding and digital-skills training for graduates of the PSDF’s Mein Digital programme.

The agreement was signed by PSDF Head of Digital Programmes Akbar Hussain and icod.ai CEO Ammar Aslam at a ceremony attended by senior officials from both organisations, including Ali Dar and Hassan Jawaid of icod.ai.

Under the partnership, icod.ai will align PSDF’s training curricula with current artificial intelligence development practices and conduct bootcamps for up to 25 graduates. The training will cover website development, digital forms and automated business workflows, officials said.

Both organisations described the collaboration as an important step towards strengthening Punjab’s digital skills ecosystem and improving the employability of young people in the digital economy.

Officials said the pilot phase would subsequently be expanded to include freelancing and sustainable technology-enabled income opportunities for rural women trained under the Mein Digital initiative.
