KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 138,607 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 96,737 tonnes of Import Cargo and 41,870 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 96,737 tonnes Comprised of 82,385 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 7,485 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 3,810 tonnes of Dap & 3,057 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 41,780 tonnes Comprised of 8,737 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 116 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 24,714 tonnes of Clinkers, 503 tonnes of Rice, & 7,800 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Approximately, 10 ships namely, Blue Voyage, Msc Mariella, Wan Hai 372, Ever Ethic, Hayat, Leo I, Glen Cove, X-Press Bardsey, MT Karachi, & Bsg Bimini berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Around, 06 ships namely, Yasmin, Thai Chemi, Nyk Futago, MT Sargodha, Kmtc Chennai, Wan Hai 372, & Lai Zhou 66 sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of six ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a containers ship ‘NYK Futago’ left the port on Monday morning.
Cargo volume of 67,781 tonnes comprising 54,461 tones imports cargo and 13,320 export cargo carried in 455 Containers (281 TEUs Imports & 174 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours
There are 14 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Pasodoble and Bi Jia Shan & another ship ‘MSC Glory-R’ carrying Gas oil, Coal and Container are expected to take berths FOTCO, PIBT and QICT respectively on Monday 17th August, 2026.
