Gold price drops by Rs3,500 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Thursday, with per tola gold dropping by Rs2,700 to Rs444,162, reflecting a decline in the international market.

Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Thursday in line with their loss in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs460,436 after a decline of Rs3,500 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs394,749 after it fell by Rs3,001, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Wednesday, gold price per tola reached Rs463,936 after a gain of Rs4,200 during the day.
The international rate of gold declined by $35 to reach $4,380 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs175 to reach Rs6,936 per tola.
