LHC seeks case record from IO in bail plea of accused

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Wednesday asked the Investigating Officer (IO) to produce case record of an accused Sikandar Hayat in his post arrest bail petition.

The accused has been facing the charges of giving a fake cheque to complainant.

Earlier, the defense counsel told the court that the accused had paid the amount in question to the complainant. He, however, sought time to submit the document in this regard.

The court accordingly adjourned the proceedings and also asked the IO to submit the case record on next hearing.
