LAHORE: The Pak International Business Forum (PIBF) is organising a three-day exhibition, “Mera Brand Pakistan,” from August 14 to 16, 2026, at Expo Centre Lahore, aimed at promoting Pakistani brands, showcasing locally produced goods and providing businesses with opportunities to explore domestic and international markets.

Disclosing details to media persons during an informal chit-chat, Muhammad Ejaz Tanveer, Central General Secretary, Pak International Business Forum, and Abdul Wadood Alvi, President, PIBF Lahore, said the exhibition would bring together local businesses, industries, IT companies, entrepreneurs and academia on a single platform to showcase their products and services and explore new business and export opportunities.

They said the initiative was aimed at strengthening national branding and creating greater visibility for Pakistani products in domestic and international markets. The exhibition would provide local brands with an opportunity to interact with potential buyers develop business linkages and identify avenues for expanding their market presence.

PIBF leaders urged business and industry representatives to actively participate in and support the exhibition, saying collective efforts were needed to promote locally manufactured and developed products and project Pakistan’s entrepreneurial and industrial potential at the international level.

They said special attention had also been given to families and children, with entertainment and gifting activities planned as part of the three-day event. This would provide families an opportunity to visit the exhibition and engage with Pakistani brands, while exhibitors would be able to showcase their products directly to consumers.

The PIBF representatives said “Mera Brand Pakistan” would bring together different segments of the economy, including academia, industry, IT companies, local businesses and entrepreneurs, fostering interaction, collaboration and new business opportunities.

They said the organisers were making efforts to further improve the exhibition compared with last year and welcomed suggestions from the business community, exhibitors and other stakeholders to make the initiative more effective and commercially beneficial.

They maintained that the ultimate objective was to promote local products, encourage entrepreneurship, strengthen national branding and enhance Pakistan’s export potential by connecting Pakistani businesses with domestic and international buyers.

Muhammad Ejaz Tanveer and Abdul Wadood Alvi said the exhibition would also provide emerging entrepreneurs and established businesses an opportunity to present their brands, understand market trends, develop new contacts and explore possibilities for business expansion.

They invited the business community, industry representatives, IT companies, entrepreneurs, families and the general public to participate in “Mera Brand Pakistan” and support the initiative aimed at promoting Pakistani brands and strengthening the country’s economic and commercial identity.
