KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 106,844 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 62,553 tonnes of Import Cargo and 44,291 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 62,553 tonnes Comprised of 55,210 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 40 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 6,803 tonnes of Dap & 500 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 44,291 tonnes Comprised of 38,479 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 362 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 1,450 tonnes of Clinkers & 4,000 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Approximately, 05 ships namely, Xin Shanghai, Brave Ocean, Zhong Gu Tai Yuan & Lisbon Express berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Around, 06 ships namely, Gsl Rossi, Express Berlin, Kmtc Mundra, Chemstar River, Medi Zuoz & Jn Safe sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, Kotka, SG Friendship and Cymona Pride are expected to sail on Tuesday.
Cargo volume of 237,801 tones comprising 201,560 tones imports cargo and 36,241 export cargo carried in 4,639 Containers (3,445 TEUs Imports & 1,194 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 17 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, Chemroad Journey, Yiannis N.G, Thai Chemi and Falcon Trident & two more ships, GSL Rossi and GFS Pride carrying Palm oil, Soya Bean Seed, Chemicals, Coal and Container are expected to take berths LCT, FAP, EVTL, PIBT and QICT respectively on Tuesday 11th August, 2026.
