KARACHI: Forbes Middle East has named Houssem Ben Haj Amor, Group Chief Executive Officer of Al Baraka Group, among its Top 100 CEOs in the Middle East for 2026, a list featuring leading executives from across a range of business sectors in the region.

Ben Haj Amor’s selection comes as Al Baraka Group, under his leadership, continues to implement its strategic plans and advance its operations across its markets, with a focus on strengthening integration and collaboration among its banking subsidiaries and leveraging its geographic footprint to support business growth.

During his tenure as Group Chief Executive Officer, the Group has focused on strengthening coordination among its subsidiary banks, accelerating transformation and development initiatives, diversifying revenue streams, and enhancing banking services in line with the evolving financial services and Islamic banking landscape.

The Group has also continued to record growth across a number of financial and operational indicators, supported by the diversity of its markets and the business base of its banking subsidiaries, despite regional and global economic and financial challenges and volatility.

Al Baraka Group continues to develop its business model, enhance operational efficiency and strengthen collaboration among its subsidiaries, while further developing its Islamic banking products and services with a focus on sustainable growth.
