KARACHI: Karachi Development Authority’s Director General Asif Jan Siddiqui and senior officials of K-Electric on Wednesday agreed to enhance institutional coordination to resolve utility-related issues and ensure the uninterrupted execution of key development projects across the city.
The understanding was reached during a meeting at the KDA Civic Centre attended by KE Director Government Affairs Haris Jameel Siddiqui, Deputy General Manager Government Affairs Sarmad Shah and Deputy Director Muneer Ahmed Sheikh. KDA Secretary Muhammad Arshad Khan and Superintending Engineer Junaid Siddiqui also attended the meeting.
The two sides reviewed matters relating to ongoing cooperation between KDA and K-Electric, with particular focus on technical and administrative challenges affecting infrastructure projects, including the relocation of utility services and inter-agency coordination.
