LAHORE: A high-level trade delegation led by President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol, has departed for an important visit to the European countries of Switzerland, France, and Germany.

According to the LCCI, the purpose of the visit is to further strengthen trade and economic relations between Pakistan and European countries, boost national exports, and explore new opportunities for foreign investment.

The delegation will hold meetings with various business organizations, chambers of commerce, investors, industrial institutions, and trade experts. Discussions will focus on promoting bilateral trade, exploring opportunities for joint investment, exchanging advanced industrial technologies, addressing challenges faced by the export sector, and identifying new avenues for mutual cooperation.

Before his departure, the LCCI president stated that European markets offer immense potential for Pakistani products and strong business linkages are essential to fully capitalize on these opportunities. He said the Lahore Chamber is continuously undertaking initiatives to introduce Pakistan’s industry and trade to the global market and to help the local business community gain access to new markets.

He further stated that the visit would provide an effective platform to showcase Pakistan’s industrial, commercial, and export potential to European investors and business communities.

Tanveer assumes charge as Acting President LCCI. Senior Vice President of the LCCI Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh has assumed charge as Acting President following the departure of LCCI President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol on an official overseas visit.
