TEHRAN: The Embassy of Pakistan in Tehran organized the First Pakistan Mango Festival at Palladium Mall, Tehran, showcasing Pakistan’s world-famous mangoes and celebrating the enduring friendship between Pakistan and Iran.
In his remarks, Ambassador Imran Ahmed Siddiqui highlighted Pakistan’s rich mango heritage. Ambassador Siddiqui noted that Pakistan is among the world’s leading producers and exporters of mangoes, with over 250 varieties renowned for their exceptional sweetness, aroma, and quality. The Ambassador emphasized that the festival was not only an opportunity to introduce the finest Pakistani mangoes to Iranian consumers but also to promote trade, cultural exchanges, and closer people-to-people ties between the two fraternal countries.
The festival attracted a large number of visitors throughout the evening. Families and children enthusiastically sampled different varieties of Pakistani mangoes, enjoyed the festive atmosphere, and took photographs at specially designed mango-themed displays and photo stands. The event received an overwhelmingly positive response, with visitors appreciating the taste and quality of Pakistan’s premium mangoes.
The Ambassador thanked the management of Palladium Mall and the Embassy team for their support in organizing the successful event. He expressed hope that festivals like this would further strengthen the bonds of friendship between Pakistan and Iran.
