KARACHI: The Sindh government has taken a historic step for the youth by completing the process of launching the Sindh Youth Card.
The PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will inaugurate it in the last week of August.
The Provincial Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Khan Mahar, stated that under the special directives of Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Sindh government has finalized the issuance of the Sindh Youth Card for the welfare and development of young people.
He explained that in the first phase, one hundred thousand young people aged 15 to 29 from 30 districts of the province will be provided with various facilities and opportunities through the Sindh Youth Card, enabling them to access better prospects in education, employment, skills and self-reliance.

Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Khan Mahar further elaborated that under the Sindh Youth Card, students will receive scholarships for higher education in universities, opportunities for advanced studies both abroad and within Pakistan, interest-free loans, financial assistance, world-class skills training, special concessions on local transport and train travel, as well as preferential access to various public and private services.
He emphasized that registration for the Sindh Youth Card will be completely online and very simple, ensuring that youth from every district of the province can easily benefit from this facility.
The Provincial Minister added that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s vision is to reach all those young people who previously had no access to government facilities and to provide them with equal opportunities for progress.
He clarified that the Sindh Youth Card will only be issued to those who hold a Sindh domicile.
The Sindh Youth Card will be issued through Jazz Bank, while details of the registration process and other information will soon be shared with the public.
