KARACHI: The Sindh government has begun preparations to introduce a Youth Card for the province’s young people, and the Department of Sports has been instructed to prepare the procedure.
In this regard, a meeting was held at the Sindh Secretariat under the chairmanship of Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Bux Mahar, concerning the introduction of the Youth Card.
The meeting was attended by Sports Secretary Munawar Ali Mahesar, Director Asad Ishaq, Chief Engineer Muhammad Aslam Mahar, and other officials.
During the meeting, a detailed briefing was given on the preparations for the Youth Card. The Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs directed the Sports Secretary to devise a mechanism that would maximize benefits for the province’s youth. Sardar Muhammad Bux Mahar stated that, on the special instructions of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Sindh Youth Card is planned to be introduced before June this year.
Through the Youth Card, young people will be provided with facilities in education, skills development, employment, monthly stipends, scholarships, and sports.
