Bilawal censures EC for its ‘inaction’ on rigging claims

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday said that although the political party rigging the first phase of general elections held for the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly had confessed to its crime, still the election commission had failed to take any action on the complaints the PPP had lodged regarding rigging.

In a post on X, he said that had the election commission taken action then, the credibility of phase-II of the elections being held today could have been restored.
