Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) on Friday announced the opening of bookings for the all-new Kia Sportage L Hybrid and Kia Sorento Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), expanding the company’s electrified sport utility vehicle (SUV) lineup in Pakistan.
The Kia Sportage L Hybrid has been introduced in both front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) variants, while the Sorento Plug-in Hybrid joins the existing Sorento 3.5L V6 and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) models, offering customers a broader choice of powertrains.
According to the company, the Sportage L Hybrid combines advanced hybrid technology, enhanced driving dynamics and bold styling, with FWD and AWD configurations catering to different customer preferences.
LMC said the Sorento Plug-in Hybrid offers electric driving capability alongside premium comfort, intelligent technology and greater versatility for family travel, reinforcing Kia’s commitment to sustainable mobility in Pakistan.
The company has set partial booking amounts at Rs2 million for the Sportage FWD HEV, Rs2.5 million for the Sportage AWD HEV and Rs3 million for the Sorento AWD PHEV.
Lucky Motor said the final retail prices of the vehicles will be announced after the government provides clarity on the applicable federal sales tax. Customers can place bookings through authorised Kia dealerships nationwide.
