KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 142,068 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 74,096 tonnes of Import Cargo and 67,972 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 74,096 tonnes Comprised of 46,203 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 17,689 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 784 tonnes of Lentils, & 9,420 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 67,972 tonnes Comprised of 37,753 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 155 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 7,768 tonnes of Cement, 12,000 tonnes of Clinkers, & 10,296 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 05 ships namely, Oocl Nagoya, Oocl Washington, Zaraar Hanif, Dolphin 707, & P, Aliki berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 05 ships namely, Korea Chemi, Bsg Bimini, One Reliability, He Run Xiag Nao, & Xin Fu Zhou sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, SK Resolute and Gooby left the port on Wednesday morning & two more ships, BSG Bimini and Intelligence Diva expected to sail on Wednesday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 161,288 tones comprising 123,221 tones imports cargo and 38,067 export cargo carried in 3,400 Containers (1,800 TEUs Imports & 1,600 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 14 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them a bulk cargo carrier ‘Vosco Proper’ & three more ships, Bow Endeavour, BGS Barbados and APL Oregon scheduled to load/offload Rice/Cement, Chemicals and Container are expected to take berths MW-1, EVTL and QICT respectively on Wednesday 29th July, 2026.
