PESHAWAR: Four tourists, including two women, were killed and another person was injured after their car traveling towards Naran plunged into a deep ravine in Kawai area of Mansehra on Sunday, police said.
According to police officials, the accident occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and fall into the ravine.
Police confirmed that all four deceased were tourists from Sialkot. The injured passenger was shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Rescue teams and local authorities rushed to the scene soon after the incident and retrieved the victims from the ravine. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of four tourists.
