KARACHI: Director General of the Karachi Development Authority, Asif Jan Siddiqui, reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the welfare and well-being of KDA employees during a meeting with lawmakers and representatives of the KDA Employees Union (CBA) at the Civic Centre on Friday.
?The delegation comprised Member of the National Assembly Farhan Chishti, Member of the Provincial Assembly Taha Ahmed, and Patron-in-Chief of the KDA Employees Union (CBA), Syed Imran Hussain Jafri. KDA Member Finance Naveed Anwar Siddiqui also attended the meeting.
?The participants discussed in detail the welfare of KDA employees, the authority’s ongoing institutional reforms, and measures to address employees’ concerns through mutual consultation and administrative support.
?The parliamentarians commended DG KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui for adopting employee-friendly policies and welcomed the successful completion of all formalities relating to the approval of the Charter of Demand.
?They expressed confidence that the benefits under the Charter would be implemented at the earliest. This would enable KDA employees to receive enhanced facilities and welfare benefits in recognition of their dedicated services.
?DG, KDA, Asif Jan Siddiqui said the authority considered its employees as the greatest asset and remained fully committed to safeguarding their interests.
?He said the authority would continue to take practical measures aimed at improving employees’ welfare and creating a more supportive working environment.
?He further said the KDA administration and the Employees Union (CBA) would continue to work in close coordination and through regular consultation to ensure the timely resolution of employees’ issues and to promote their collective welfare.
