KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where four ships, DP World Chennai, Roama-19, Maple Ocean and Elijah carrying Container, Palm oil, Chemicals and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal on 13th July.
Meanwhile another containers ship ‘Marianna-I’ also arrived at outer anchorage on today morning.
A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, Venus-09, DP World Chennai and Dubai Sky left the port on Tuesday morning, while two more ships, Maple Ocean and Andreas-K are expected to sail on Tuesday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 83,754 tones comprising 59,696 tones imports cargo and 24,058 export cargo carried in 1,662 Containers (726 TEUs Imports & 936 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 13 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, Firando, Epic Santosa, Yashar, Jacob-H and Marianna-I & another ship ‘Zhou Yue Yuan Yang’ carrying Soya Bean Seed, LPG, Coal and Container are expected to take berths FAP, SSGC, EVTL, PIBT and QICT respectively on Tuesday 14th July, 2026.
