ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will observe a day of national mourning today (Monday), July 13, 2026, following the passing of Qatar’s Father Amir and former Amir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif made the announcement on Sunday night, declaring national mourning as a gesture of solidarity with Qatar’s Royal Family, government and people on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan, according to an official notification.
The national flag will fly at half-mast across the country.
