ISLAMABAD: Pak Telecom Mobile Limited (PTML) on Tuesday announced its executive management team, ushering in a new chapter in the leadership of the newly amalgamated company.
Following the Competition Commission of Pakistan’s (CCP) directive requiring PTML to operate under a management structure separate from the PTCL Group, Hatem Bamatraf has stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer of PTCL.

He will continue to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer of PTML, where he will lead the newly amalgamated MergeCo (PTML) and oversee its integration and growth strategy.
The newly announced executive management team includes:
Atif Raza, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), brings more than two decades of experience in Pakistan’s telecom industry, with expertise in commercial strategy, business transformation, customer experience, product development, pricing, and revenue growth.
Awais Vohra, Chief Technology and AI Officer (CTAO), has over 26 years of leadership experience in network operations, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and telecom strategy across Pakistan, Scandinavia, and the Asia-Pacific region.
Areej Khan, Chief People Officer (CPO), has more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning human resources, digital transformation, product management, communications, and organisational development.
Shan ul Haq, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (CCAO), has held senior leadership roles in corporate affairs, regulatory strategy, public policy, human resources, and commercial operations.
Khawaja Shehzad Ullah, Chief Consumer Business Officer (CCBO), brings more than three decades of experience in consumer sales, channel management, and retail operations.
Bilal Javed Bhatti, Chief Business Officer (CBO), has over 20 years of experience in enterprise sales, customer relationship management, sales operations, and business development.
Haider Latif Sandhu, Senior Vice President, Governance, Legal & Compliance, has more than 26 years of experience in governance, legal affairs, and regulatory compliance.
Abdullah Hameed, Head of Internal Audit, brings over 25 years of experience in internal audit, corporate governance, and enterprise risk management.
