KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 224,314 Tons of Cargo Comprising 173,968 Tonsof Import Cargo and 50,346 Tons of Export Cargo during last 24 hrs ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 173,968 Tons Comprised of 96,318 Tons of Containerized Cargo, and 77,650 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 50,346 Tons Comprised of 14,711 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 754 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 5,562 Tons of Cement, 2,162 Tons of Rice, 19,077 Tons of Talc Powder, and 8,150 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
Five ships namely Hmm Colombo, Wan Hai 625, P. Aliki, An Hai, and Zhong Gu Lan Zhou at Berth at Karachi Port Trust.
Six ships namely Selen, Asian Phoenix, Oocl Le Haver, Seaspan Bellwether, New Voyager, and Zhong Gu Xi An sailed from Karachi Port Trust.
Port Qasim
A total of twelve ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a bulk cargo carrier ‘Libero’ left the port and two more ships, MSC Rochelle and Stainless Lady are expected to sail on afternoon.
Cargo volume of 184,836 tones comprising 150,298 tones imports cargo and 34,538 export cargo carried in 4,200 Containers (2,500 TEUs Imports & 1,700 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 11 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, CC Yantai and Jahan-1 carrying Palm oil and Coal are expected to take berths LCT and PIBT respectively on today 6th July, 2026.
