An earthquake of magnitude 5.81 ‌struck Mindanao, Philippines on Monday, the German Research Centre ⁠for Geosciences (GFZ) said.

The Philippine seismology agency Phivolcs said no damage or aftershocks were expected ‌from ⁠the offshore tremor.

The quake was at a ⁠depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), according ⁠to the GFZ ⁠report.
