LAHORE: The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has carried out a major reshuffle, transferring and appointing 19 officers in a fresh bid to tighten tax enforcement and improve revenue collection across the province.
According to a spokesperson, the orders were issued by PRA Chairman Moazzam Iqbal Sipra and cover 14 Enforcement Officers and five Audit Officers, who have been given new assignments in various districts and field formations.
The spokesperson said the postings were made strictly on the basis of merit, professional experience, and administrative needs, with the aim of strengthening the Authority’s administrative capacity and enhancing operational efficiency.
Speaking on the reshuffle, Chairman Sipra said the Authority would continue building its administrative strength to meet revenue targets and broaden the tax net.
He directed the newly posted officers to actively improve field operations, ensure strict monitoring, and enforce tax laws effectively in their respective areas.
