PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mohammad Sohail Afridi has announced a financial assistance package for victims of passenger bus accident en route from Quetta.
Under the announced package, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on behalf of its people will provide Rs 2 million each to next of kin of those who lost their lives, while each injured will receive Rs 1 million.
The Chief Minister has strictly directed relevant authorities to complete necessary legal and administrative procedures to disburse financial assistance without any delay. He also warned that no negligence will be tolerated in providing financial assistance to affected families.
Expressing deep sorrow over tragedy, KP CM said that provincial government stands firmly with affected families in this hour of grief and committed to providing them with all possible support.
