The federal government has reduced petrol and high-speed diesel prices by Rs1.97 per litre, effective July 4, with new rates of Rs297.53 and Rs309.50 respectively.

The federal government on Friday reduced the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs1.97 per litre, with the revised rates taking effect from July 4, 2026.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the ex-depot price of petrol (Motor Spirit) has been reduced from Rs299.50 per litre to Rs297.53 per litre.
The price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has also been lowered from Rs311.47 per litre to Rs309.50 per litre.

The revised prices will remain effective from July 4 until the next weekly review.
