KWSC completes arrangements for Ashura

KARACHI: The Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) has finalized comprehensive arrangements to ensure uninterrupted water supply for mourners during the Yaum-e-Ashur.

According to a KWSC spokesman, on the directives of the CEO, Ahmed Ali Siddiqui, special measures had been taken onthe routes of central and subsidiary mourning processions, Imambargahs, mosques, congregation venues and Sabeels across the city.

Relevant officers and operational staff had been directed to remain on high alert throughout the observance of Ashura. The hydrants cell has also completed special arrangements for Ashura.
