ISLAMABAD: A district and sessions court on Thursday reissued non-bailable arrest warrant for the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, for his continued absence from the court in a case registered against him by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) over his misleading remarks about state institutions.
Senior Civil Judge Abbas Shah, while hearing the case, directed the police to arrest the chief minister and produce him before the court.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till June 29.
Afridi has been accused of making misleading remarks against state institutions and damaging their credibility.
