KARACHI: A grand and vibrant Eid Milan ceremony was organized at Sir Syed Tower under the auspices of Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys Association (AMUOBA).

Ceremony was attended by Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan, Mrs. Erum Akbar Ali Khan, Dr. Jafar Nazir Usmani, Senior Alig, Engr. Adil Usman, Mohsin Hassan Khan, Mukhtar Naqvi, Masood Alam, Prof. Dr. Afzal Haque, Cdre Syed Sarfraz Ali (retd), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aamir, Engr. Hassan Zaki and a large number of Aligarians and SSUET Alumni.

Expressing his joy on the occasion, Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan, President of Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys Association and Chancellor of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET), said that the Eid Milan ceremony reminds us of the values that symbolize unity, solidarity and brotherhood, and brings the Aligarh community together in a purposeful and meaningful way. He highlighted that sharing joy and love is essential for building a healthy society and that such events foster mutual respect and harmony, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.

He noted that in a world increasingly marked by division; these gatherings remind us of the importance of relationships and community.

Mrs. Erum Akbar Ali Khan, Chairperson of the Zakir Ali Khan Foundation, remarked that Eid is incomplete without connecting with loved ones. She stressed the importance of compassion and understanding as the foundation of unity, urging everyone to exemplify love and brotherhood during this festive occasion.
