ISLAMABAD: Domestic rates of petrol and high speed diesel (HSD) have been declined in line with the drop in global oil prices, according to a statement of Petroleum division.
In weekly review of petroleum productions, federal government reduced the price of petrol by Rs 4 per litre and HSD by Rs 2 per litre effective from Saturday (June 13). Following the increase, new price of petrol is fixed at Rs 373.78 per litre and HSD price is fixed at Rs 378.78 per litre for coming week.

Petroleum Levy (PL) rate on both the petroleum products is Rs 160 per litre in last review. Recently, the budgetary target of PL has been revised upward to Rs 1.498 trillion from Rs 1.468 billion and next year budgetary target is set at Rs 1.676 trillion.
