FAISALABAD: Director Intelligence Bureau Faisalabad, Syed Ali Ammar Kausar, delivered a special lecture on “Intelligence Bureau and National Security: Opportunities and Challenges” at Government College University Faisalabad, organized by the College of Law.

Addressing a large gathering of students and faculty members, Syed Ali Ammar Kausar highlighted the role of intelligence institutions in safeguarding national security and discussed the emerging security challenges facing Pakistan.

He briefed the participants on the working mechanism, responsibilities, and objectives of the Intelligence Bureau, emphasizing its contribution to maintaining national stability and security.

He urged the youth to channel their energies towards positive activities, education; and national development, stating that the future progress of Pakistan depends on the constructive role of its younger generation. He further remarked that Pakistan’s defense is in capable hands and that the country’s security institutions possess the capacity to effectively counter all forms of threats.

During the interactive session, he shared insightful experiences and highlighted the collaborative efforts of the Intelligence Bureau with other civilian and military institutions in achieving national security objectives.

The seminar was attended by Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Asim Mahmood, Chairman College of Law Dr. Ghulam Murtaza, Dr. Aamir Munj, Dr. Muhammad Imran, Babar Haral, Syed Najam Ali Shah, faculty members, and a large number of students.

Later, Syed Ali Ammar Kausar called on Vice Chancellor GCUF Prof. Dr. Rauf-I-Azam. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, security of educational institutions, and student safety were discussed in detail.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Rauf-I-Azam appreciated the vital role of Pakistan’s intelligence agencies in ensuring national security and stability. He stressed the importance of continued cooperation among all stakeholders to promote national interests and maintain a secure academic environment for students.
