ISLAMABAD: Security forces have killed 17 terrorists belonging to the Indian-sponsored militant group “Fitna-al-Hindustan” during a series of intelligence-based operations conducted across multiple districts of Balochistan following the train attack incident on May 24.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations were carried out in Mastung, Nushki, Zehri, Khuzdar and Kech districts as part of an intensified counterterrorism campaign aimed at dismantling terrorist networks operating in the province.
The ISPR said security forces effectively engaged multiple terrorist hideouts during the operations. Following intense exchanges of fire, 17 terrorists were killed, dealing a significant blow to militant networks involved in terrorist activities across the region.
A large cache of weapons, ammunition, explosives and prepared improvised explosive devices (IEDs) was also recovered from the killed terrorists. The military said the militants had been actively involved in numerous acts of terrorism in the area.
