LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who undergoes a surgery on Eid day, is recovering speedily. Maryam Nawaz underwent a major surgery here at Sharif Medical City. In a post uploaded on X platform on Thursday, Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said the chief minister underwent major surgery at the Sharif Medical City Hospital, after which she has been shifted to home.
Auranzeb further said “Alhamdulillah. On the day of Eid, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz directly oversaw all the matters in the province, including security, cleanliness, and others, from the hospital.”
In her post, Marriyum Aurangzeb did not specify what kind of surgery CM Maryam Nawaz underwent. However, media reports suggest that Maryam underwent throat surgery.
