PARTLY FACETIOUS: I have yet to hear Trump praise our Interior Minister by name

“Yeah I heard. But then I ask you our economic team leaders have never ever presented an out of the box in-house plan to the International Monetary Fund team when they need the money for balance of payments support and… It’s not a laughing matter!”

“I was just thinking – so we present an in the box out-house plan to the IMF?”

“I have yet to hear President Trump praise our Interior Minister by name. And Iran is welcoming him and senior officials are talking to him and there are daily visuals where….”

“But has he met the Supreme Leader yet?”

“It hasn’t been reported, but I would imagine not because his father was assassinated by US/Israel and so the IRGC must be shielding him for his safety. I mean, wouldn’t we? We spend crores of rupees each year to provide protection to our civilian and military officials and….”

“But our Interior Minister is unique.”

“Of course he is, and we all appreciate his shutting off all roads in and out of the Blue Area including that of diplomats who have reportedly complained because of the beautification campaign by the CDA….”

“I meant he is unique because he is the only Interior Minister who has met the Pope and has a picture to prove it.”

“Right so you reckon what is good for the goose…”

“Precisely.”

“Well let me put it this way, if he did meet the Supreme Leader there is no proof for obvious reasons.”

“Great, by the way there is a position open in the Interior Ministry’s media wing that you could perhaps apply for.”
