ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has told Iran that dialogue and diplomacy remained the only viable path toward achieving peaceful resolution of issues and lasting peace.
This was conveyed to Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar.
Dar held a held a telephonic conversation late last night with the Abbas Araghchi.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office in Islamabad on Monday, the discussion was focused on regional situation and Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts for peace and stability in the region.

Foreign Minister Araghchi appreciated Pakistan for the constructive role and sincere mediation efforts between the parties.
Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued commitment to promoting constructive engagement and underscored that dialogue and diplomacy remained the only viable path toward peaceful resolution of issues and achieving lasting peace and stability in the region and beyond.
