ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM) Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar was called on by Ambreen Jan, Chairperson of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra), at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday.

Chairperson congratulated DPM/FM and MoFA team for their role in the mediation and facilitation efforts in handling the regional conflict for the purpose of peace and security in the region and beyond.

The DPM/FM, while thanking the Chairperson, highlighted the importance of responsible and professional media in promoting informed public discourse and constructive public understanding. He expressed confidence in Pemra’s efforts to encourage professionalism and best practices in the media sector.

Dr Azra meets Dar

Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho, Sindh Minister for Health and Population, called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM) Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday.

Dr Azra appreciated DPM/FM’s role in strengthening relationships between federal and provincial institutions.

Views were also exchanged on matters relating to public health, welfare, and regional developments.
