KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 206,752 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 108,719 tonnes of Import Cargo and 98,033 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 108,719 tonnes Comprised of 59,887 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 2,916 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 4,023 tonnes of Soya Beans Seeds & 41,893 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 98,033 tonnes Comprised of 46,288 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 595 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 34,391 tonnes of Clinkers, 959 tonnes of Rice & 15,800 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 08 ships namely, Benita, Top, Chemroad Hawk, Esl Oman, Stolt Betula, Hong Da Xin Tian Jin, Nara, & Abu Al Abyad berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 06 ships namely, Dolphin 103, Bluex, Benita, MT Karachi, Top, & Esl Oman sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, Albert-P, MSC Tawishi and Golden Arion left the port on Wednesday morning, while three more ships, Mercury Sky, Jahan Brothers-I and Liberty Explorer are expected to sail on Wednesday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 140,031 tones comprising 125,635 tones imports cargo and 14,396 export cargo carried in 1,111 Containers (839 TEUs Imports & 272 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 12 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them three ships, Elefried, Nilos and Eastern Laelia & two more ships, APL Oregon and MSC Anabita scheduled to load/offload Rice, Soya Bean Seed, Coal and Container are expected to take berths FAP, MW-4 and QICT respectively on Wednesday 29thApril, 2026.
