KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 160,682 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 126,275 tonnes of Import Cargo and 34,407 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 126,275 tonnes Comprised of 48,941 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 6,280 Tons of B Bulk Cargo, 1,265 tonnes of Mop, 5,047 tonnes of Soya Beans Seeds & 64,742 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 34,407 tonnes Comprised of 14,539 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 392 tonnes of B. Bulk Cargo, 17,432 tonnes of Clinkers, 1,744 tonnes of Rice & 300 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 07 ships namely, Eva Hansa, Xin Shanghai, Beatrice, Interasia Amplify, Wan Hai 513, Banda & Lady Of Doria berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 05 ships namely, Hmm Sage, P. Aliki, Sc Falcon, Stellar Stream-7, &Eva hansa sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a liquid cargo carrier ‘Lian Shan Hu’ left the port on Tuesday morning, while four more ships, Al-Bert-P, Hansa Europe, MSC Tawishi-VI and Mercury Sky are expected to sail on Tuesday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 248,206 tones comprising 150,268 tones imports cargo and 97,938 export cargo carried in 8,514 Containers (3,300 TEUs Imports & 5,214 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 15 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, MSC Tawishi-Vi, Tasco Tara, Southern Anao and Margarita scheduled to load/offload Container, Bitumen, Palm oil and Gas oil are expected to take berths QICT, MW-1, LCT and FOTCO respectively on Tuesday 28thApril, 2026.
