FM Dar discusses regional stability, bilateral ties with Canadian counterpart

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Monday held a crucial conversation with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand, the Foreign Office said.
The two leaders engaged in a comprehensive discussion on the latest developments in the region and the ongoing efforts to promote peace and stability.
In their exchange, Dar emphasises Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to dialogue and diplomacy, underscoring the importance of peaceful negotiations in the region.

The leaders expressed mutual concerns regarding regional security and the need for continued collaborative efforts in resolving outstanding issues.
Further, both ministers took stock of the progress in Pakistan-Canada bilateral relations.

Dar and Minister Anand agreed on the need to accelerate high-level exchanges to further solidify ties between the two nations.
The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to fostering strong and enduring ties, paving the way for enhanced cooperation in diverse areas critical for both countries’ economic and political growth.
