LAHORE: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said on Sunday the country’s economy has witnessed a growth momentum during the last three years due to prudent economic policies of the government.
Talking to media here today, he said that since 2022, country is on positive trajectory and all indicators are in right direction.
Referring to regional tensions, he said that Pakistan maintains cordial relations with all countries including Russia, China, the United States and Pakistan is the only country that strongly condemned the attack on Iran.
The Speaker said that the international community appreciated Pakistan’s mediation efforts. He said that bringing the United States and Iran to the negotiating table is a significant diplomatic achievement.
Earlier, addressing a function, the Speaker National Assembly said the Punjab government is ensuring provision of basic facilities to the people at their doorstep. He added that public welfare is cornerstone of the government policies.
Senior Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique said on the occasion that Pakistan is gaining recognition at the international level and the entire world acknowledges country’s strength and capability.
Saad said Pakistan is now playing a role in addressing global challenges and that even the President United States Donald Trump is praising Pakistan. He
said public service has always been the hallmark of Pakistan Muslim League-N.
